Privacy Policy
What this site does and does not collect, written to match the actual front end. Last reviewed 13 August 2026.
The Short Version
Hammerheads is a static information site. We do not run accounts, newsletters, comment systems or analytics scripts in this build. The one place data leaves your control is when you click an offer link, and that is covered in full below.
Affiliate Tracking Links
This is the section that matters most, so it gets its own space rather than a single line in a list.
- Nothing is tracked while you read a page. Tracking begins only when you click an offer link and travel to an operator or affiliate network.
- Offer links may carry parameters such as subid, clickid, campaign or afp. These identify the page and campaign that sent the click, not you as a named person.
- After the click, the affiliate network sets its own cookie on its own domain and may log your IP address, the time, the referring page and browser details.
- Some networks fall back to fingerprint matching where cookies are blocked.
- We receive counts grouped by campaign, not records about named individuals.
- Those click records belong to the network and the operator and are governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
- To avoid this, do not follow the offer links, or block third-party cookies in your browser.
The Cookie Notice
Every page shows a small informational cookie notice. It is a notice, not a consent request. Because this site uses no JavaScript, the notice cannot remember that you dismissed it. It reappears on every page load and every navigation. That is a known limitation, not a fault.
What This Site Does Not Do
- No account registration and no stored passwords.
- No newsletter sign-up or email capture.
- No analytics, advertising pixels or third-party scripts in this build.
- No contact form. The contact page uses direct email instead.
- No sale of personal information, because none is collected here.
If any of these change later, for example a click redirect, a first-party cookie or an analytics tool, this policy and the cookie notice text must both be updated to match.
Server Logs
Your web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and request time, for security and operations. That is handled by the host, not by any script on these pages. Check the host's own policy for details.
Your Choices
You can block third-party cookies, use private browsing, or simply avoid the offer links. None of the site content depends on tracking to work.
